1. What the service is — and what it is not

VIDECRA is a deterministic scenario engine. You state a shock; versioned rules map it to a range for a synthetic portfolio, and every result carries the ruleset version that produced it.

It is not a forecast — the engine never estimates whether a shock will happen. It is not investment, legal, tax or accounting advice, and nothing in it is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything. Unless a channel says otherwise, the magnitudes in the bundled rulesets are illustrative expert assumptions on a synthetic portfolio, not calibrated estimates of your book. Any decision you take is yours.

2. Beta

The service is in beta. Features change, rulesets change version, and results change with them. We do not promise availability and may suspend the service for maintenance.

3. Your account

You need an account to use the engine. Keep your credentials to yourself; you are responsible for activity under your account. One account is for one person.

4. Acceptable use

Do not attempt to break authentication or rate limits, scrape the API beyond the access you were given, resell the output as your own product without a written agreement, upload anything unlawful, or present engine output to a third party as a forecast or as advice without saying what it is.

5. Your content

What you enter — profiles, scenarios, briefs, decisions — stays yours. You grant us only the licence needed to run the service for you: store it, show it to your workspace, back it up. We do not use it to train models.

6. Our content

The engine, the rulesets, the reports and this site are ours and are protected by copyright. Exports are for your and your organisation's internal use. Cited third-party sources belong to their publishers and are quoted on the terms each publisher sets.

7. Liability

To the maximum extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, or any decision taken on the basis of engine output. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend an account that breaches section 4.

9. Law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the United Arab Emirates, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights where you live.
